Lambia Kalan is a small village of 2290 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lambia Kalan depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 167.80% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lambia Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lambia Kalan's pin code is 311024[4], and village code is 02827900. The area of Lambia Kalan is segregated as 188.42 hectares irrigated area, 447.65 hectares unirrigated, the 1525.56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 127.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhilwara to sell thread and make their living.
