Lamba Peepal is a small village of 165 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lamba Peepal depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Lamba Peepal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lamba Peepal's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02776000. The area of Lamba Peepal is segregated as 135.03 hectares irrigated area, 13 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell earthen pots and make their living.
