Lamba is a small village of 3037 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lamba depends on Bilara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 4.04% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lamba is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lamba's pin code is 342605[4], and village code is 02011100. The area of Lamba is segregated as 88.87 hectares irrigated area, 2573 hectares unirrigated, remaining 374.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bilara and Jodhpur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
