Lamba is a small village of 2435 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lamba depends on Gulabpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 218.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lamba is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lamba's pin code is 311408[4], and village code is 02803200. The area of Lamba is segregated as 218 hectares irrigated area, 963 hectares unirrigated, the 677 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 577 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lamba is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4440 and has total administration over 900 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gulabpura and Bhilwara to sell thread and make their living.
