Lalpura is a small village of 1335 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lalpura depends on Pokaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 208.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Lalpura's pin code is 345021[4], and village code is 01970700. The area of Lalpura is segregated as 208 hectares irrigated area, 742 hectares unirrigated, the 325 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 60 hectare area not available for cultivation.
