Lalpur is a small village of 1363 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lalpur depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 671.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lalpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Lalpur's pin code is 333023[4], and village code is 00679900. The area of Lalpur is segregated as 671 hectares irrigated area, 556 hectares unirrigated, the 110 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26 hectare area not available for cultivation.
