Lakolai is a small village of 385 hectares in Deoli Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lakolai depends on Deoli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lakolai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lakolai's pin code is 304804[4], and village code is 02661600. The area of Lakolai is segregated as 67.91 hectares irrigated area, 249.6 hectares unirrigated, the 29.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.
