Lakheri Khurd is a small village of 559 hectares in Keshoraipatan Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lakheri Khurd depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Lakheri Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lakheri Khurd's pin code is 323602[3], and village code is 02749100. The area of Lakheri Khurd is segregated as 293 hectares irrigated area, 51 hectares unirrigated, the 84.97 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 130 hectare area not available for cultivation.
