Ladpur is a small village of 1007 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ladpur depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Ladpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ladpur's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02773200. The area of Ladpur is segregated as 814.1 hectares irrigated area, 10 hectares unirrigated, the 118.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 65 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KESHORAIPATAN and Bundi to sell jeggery and make their living.
