Lachhiwar is a small village of 1030 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lachhiwar depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lachhiwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lachhiwar's pin code is 343041[4], and village code is 02333700. The area of Lachhiwar is segregated as 542 hectares irrigated area, 365 hectares unirrigated, remaining 123 hectare area not available for cultivation.
