Lachchipura is a small village of 260 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lachchipura depends on Ajmer, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 8.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lachchipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lachchipura's pin code is 305012[4], and village code is 02508700. The area of Lachchipura is segregated as 12 hectares irrigated area, 61 hectares unirrigated, the 48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 139 hectare area not available for cultivation.
