LaLa Milan (born October 24, 1989) is an American actress, comedian, and internet personality.[1] She gained initial fame through her comedic sketches on Vine and Instagram, particularly her viral parody of the song "Trap Queen." Milan has since expanded her career into acting, hosting, and entrepreneurship, and currently serves as the CEO of the wellness brand *Vagitaminz*.[2]
Early life and education
LaLa Milan was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until middle school, after which her family relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended E.E. Waddell High School, where she was active in cheerleading and track and field, graduating in 2007.
She later attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and completed cosmetology training at Empire Beauty School, becoming a licensed cosmetologist.
Career
Before launching her entertainment career, Milan worked in retail for two years and then in the insurance industry with AllState for over two years. Her breakout came on social media under the handle "LaLaSizaHands89," where she posted humorous videos and parodies that gained widespread popularity.[3]
Her viral Trap Queen parody and other comedic content on Vine and Instagram helped her build a large online following. She later rebranded as LaLa Milan and launched a YouTube channel featuring fashion hauls, beauty tutorials, advice segments, celebrity collaborations, and pop culture commentary.[4]
Now based in Los Angeles, California, Milan has appeared in various web and television projects and continues to expand her presence in entertainment.[5]
Entrepreneurship
In addition to her entertainment work, Milan is the founder and CEO of *Vagitaminz*, a wellness brand focused on feminine health products.[6][7]
