Lévy Gorvy Dayan is a blue-chip art gallery founded in 2023 by Dominique Lévy, Brett Gorvy, and Amalia Dayan. The gallery is headquartered at 19 East 64th Street, New York with additional locations in Paris, London, and Hong Kong. The gallery operates in London, Paris, and Milan under the leadership of Victoria Gelfand-Magalhaes, European President, and in Hong Kong as Lévy Gorvy Dayan & Wei in partnership with Rebecca Wei.[1]

History

In 2009, Amalia Dayan partnered with Daniella and Alma Luxembourg at Luxembourg & Dayan gallery.[2] Dayan and Daniella Luxembourg parted ways in 2020.[3]

In 2017, Dominique Lévy and Brett Gorvy co-founded Lévy Gorvy, an art gallery with spaces in New York, London and Hong Kong.[4] They opened a space in Paris in 2020.[5]

In 2021, Lévy, Gorvy, Dayan and Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn announced a joint partnership under the banner of LGDR, a consortium that represented artists, organized exhibitions, advised collectors and brokered auction sales.[6] They inaugurated their flagship gallery at 19 East 64th Street in April of 2023 with an acclaimed exhibition entitled Rear View.[7]

In August 2023, it was announced that Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn would return to her previous business while Lévy, Gorvy, and Dayan would continue under the banner of Lévy Gorvy Dayan at 19 East 64th Street, where they will present exhibitions and advise clients.[8]

Exhibitions

Lévy Gorvy Dayan continues its program with an exhibition entitled Pierre Soulages: From Midnight to Twilight, opening September 14, 2023.[9]

Art Fairs

Lévy Gorvy Dayan participates in art fairs including Art Basel in Basel, Miami and Hong Kong; Paris + par Art Basel, TEFAF New York, and Frieze Seoul.[10][11]
