Kyle Jansen (born February 23, 2006) is a South African u17 National Team soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper in the USA for MLS Next academy club Atlanta United FC|Atlanta United.[1] [2]
Club career
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jansen played club soccer with North Atlanta Soccer Association before joining the Atlanta United academy's under-12 side. Jansen progressed through the academy where he now plays for the u17 MLS Next [3], u19 UPSL [4] and was also rostered for the club's USL Championship [5] side Atlanta United 2 [6].
International career
On April, 18, 2023, Jansen was named in the 21 man South Africa national under-17 football team [7] that competed in the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations [8] [9] in Algeria. He made his international debut on April, 30,2023 against Morocco. [10]
