Kusiya is a small village of 829 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kusiya depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kusiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Kusiya's pin code is 341023[4], and village code is 01792100. The area of Kusiya is segregated as 791.5 hectares unirrigated, the 24.72 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12.77 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
