Kushayata is a small village of 986 hectares in Nasirabad Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kushayata depends on Kekri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kushayata is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kushayata's pin code is 305407[4], and village code is 02586500. The area of Kushayata is segregated as 158 hectares irrigated area, 255 hectares unirrigated, the 135 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 438 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 375 male, 350 female with 618 (85.24%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 312 males and 306 females. 228 males and 266 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 17 male and 23 female agricultural labor. 107 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kekri and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
