Kurgaon is a small village of 215.8 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kurgaon depends on Fafamau, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kurgaon's pin code is 229413[4], and village code is 05417600. The area of Kurgaon is segregated as 7 hectares irrigated area, 1.14 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 8.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kurgaon has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kurgaon is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3532 and has total administration over 600 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
