Kureli is a small village of 190 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kureli depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 80.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kureli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kureli's pin code is 301713[4], and village code is 00763500. The area of Kureli is segregated as 80 hectares irrigated area, 104 hectares unirrigated, the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 3.37 hectare area not available for cultivation.
