Kundiya Kalan is a small village of 3130 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kundiya Kalan depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 4.45% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kundiya Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kundiya Kalan's pin code is 311024[4], and village code is 02825800. The area of Kundiya Kalan is segregated as 313.69 hectares irrigated area, 1142.08 hectares unirrigated, the 1160.99 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 513.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Bhilwara to sell coal and make their living.
