Kunda is a small village of 1782 hectares in Shahbad Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kunda depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Kunda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kunda's pin code is 325217[4], and village code is 03906000. The area of Kunda is segregated as 231 hectares irrigated area, 279 hectares unirrigated, the 166 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 339 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
