Kumhariya is a small village of 325 hectares in Nainwa Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kumhariya depends on INDRAGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kumhariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kumhariya's pin code is 323616[3], and village code is 02722100. The area of Kumhariya is segregated as 151 hectares irrigated area, 47 hectares unirrigated, the 93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of INDRAGARH and Bundi to sell earthen pots and make their living.
