Kumawas is a small village of 986 hectares in Nawalgarh Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kumawas depends on NAWALGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 229.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kumawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kumawas's pin code is 333707[4], and village code is 00739500. The area of Kumawas is segregated as 229 hectares irrigated area, 616 hectares unirrigated, the 103 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 38.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NAWALGARH and Jhunjhunu to sell wood furniture and make their living.
