Kristina Rabecaite (born 28 September 1993) is a Lithuanian entrepreneur, energy expert and founder of PPAYA.

Early life

Rabecaite was born in Palanga, on September 28, 1993.

From the age of five, Rabecaite began ballroom dancing, eventually competing at a national and international level. in 2006, at the age of 13, she became Lithuania’s ballroom dance champion for her age group.[1].

At the age of 15, Rabecaite moved on her own to London, United Kingdom before relocating to Sussex. Here she attended secondary school, supporting herself through a job in a local pub. She was later taken in by the parents of a teacher[1].

Career

After graduation, Rabecaite went to work for renewable energy technology platform Limejump[2].

Kristina became fascinated in using software to help to buy and sell renewable energy which she believed could make the exchange more efficient and would allow customers to achieve higher prices. In 2021, Rabecaite secured the funding to found PPAYA[2]. PPAYA monitors and analyses energy markets daily, to secure renewable energy suppliers the best price for their Power purchase agreement. PPAYA works with a wide variety of renewable energy suppliers in Wind power, Solar power and anaerobic digestion.

In May 2022, Rabecaite was named by Forbes on their Forbes 30 Under 30|30 under 30 list[3]
