Kristin Patrick is a marketing executive and business leader who currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, and Head of E-commerce for global fashion brand Claire’s.[1] She is credited with popularizing the term ‘Zalpha’ to describe the Generation Z and Generation Alpha cohorts[2][3] and has been recognized for creating opportunities for them, including the “Gen Z” college creator program at Claire’s, which was featured in The New York Times.[4]

Claire's

As EVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Patrick has brought Claire’s into the Metaverse with Shimmerville: a digital world on Roblox equipped with malls, games, and parks[5][6][7][8][9]. She has also established a partnership with Nicola Formichetti, who was named the brand’s Creative Director in Residence.[10] Patrick also led Claire's collaboration with Olivia Rodrigo|Olivia Rodrigo's stylists for a Y2K content series[11] and led the "Get Pierced' campaign.[12][13][14] During Paris Fashion Week in 2023, Patrick was responsible for helping Claire’s open a new store location in Paris, featuring collaboration with the brand’s Creative Director in Residence, fashion icon Nichola Formichetti.[15][16][17] Patrick was responsible for onboarding Formichetti, who has helped re-imagine Claire’s brand in the 21st century.[18][19]

Accolades

Patrick was named to the Top 50 Entrepreneurial CMO’s List by Forbes in 2023, the list honors the 50 marketers making an impact on brands as well as culture.[20] Patrick also received an OnCon Icon Award for the Top 50 Marketers for 2023, a list which recognizes individuals who have made a considerable impact on their organization through thought leadership and innovation.[21]

Boards

Kristin currently sits on the board of a publicly traded metaverse, E-sports and Gaming company, Super League Gaming.[22] She also sits on the board of privately held performance marketing tech company, Digital Matter and the board of a publicly traded biotech company called Chromadex.[23]
