Kristiina Helenius is a Finnish business leader, who is C.E.O. of Miltton USA (legal name Nordic West Office, Inc.) based in Washington, D.C. Miltton USA is a subsidiary of the leading Nordic consulting house Miltton Group.
Before co-founding the firm in 2017 with Jorma Ollila, Aida Hadzialic, Charles C. Adams, Jr, and Risto EJ Penttilä, Kristiina Helenius was C.E.O. of the American Chamber of Commerce in Finland. From 2001 - 2007 she was Finland’s press secretary at the Embassy of Finland in Washington, D.C. Between 1999 and 2001, she was the Bureau Chief and Correspondent in Brussels for the Finnish Broadcasting Company covering the EU, NATO, and the European Central Bank.
Kristiina Helenius holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Business School of Turku University.
Kristiina Helenius has held a number of positions in civic and business organizations. She was Chair of the League of Finnish-American Societies and the Finnish-American Scholarship Foundation. From 2013 - 2017, she was an executive board member at AmChams in Europe. She was also a member of the Country Promotion Committee of Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb.
Helenius is a founding member of the European Sanctions and Export Control Society. She is a co-founder of the scientific research department John Morton Center and of the Finnish Chapter of the global International Women's Forumin (IWF).
