Kotri is a small village of 314 hectares in Chhipabarod Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kotri depends on Antah, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kotri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kotri's pin code is 325221[4], and village code is 03868300. The area of Kotri is segregated as 228.87 hectares irrigated area, 1.21 hectares unirrigated, the 57.38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Antah and Baran to sell ghee and make their living.
