Kotri is a small village of 1155 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kotri depends on Gulabpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 57.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kotri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kotri's pin code is 311408[4], and village code is 02803800. The area of Kotri is segregated as 140 hectares irrigated area, 553 hectares unirrigated, the 339 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 123.44 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kotri has One post office (Nimbahera Kalan B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kotri has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kotri is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1933 and has total administration over 396 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gulabpura and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
