Kotrapar is a small village of 960 hectares in Chhabra Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kotrapar depends on Chhabra, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Kotrapar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kotrapar's pin code is 325220[4], and village code is 03942000. The area of Kotrapar is segregated as 174.95 hectares irrigated area, 252.05 hectares unirrigated, remaining 168.95 hectare area not available for cultivation.
