Kothihaar is a small village of 17.1 hectares in Nizamabad Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kothihaar depends on Nizamabad NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 10.78% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump.
