Kot Kasta is a small village of 1908 hectares in Bhinmal Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kot Kasta depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 114.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kot Kasta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kot Kasta's pin code is 343029[4], and village code is 02301000. The area of Kot Kasta is segregated as 214 hectares irrigated area, 823 hectares unirrigated, the 685 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 100 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kot Kasta is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2609 and has total administration over 490 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
