Kot is a small village of 1300 hectares in Bayana Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kot depends on Bayana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kot is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kot's pin code is 321405[4], and village code is 01083600. The area of Kot is segregated as 127 hectares irrigated area, 224 hectares unirrigated, the 57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 74.93 hectare area not available for cultivation.
