Kornelije Kvas (b. 1970) is a Serbian literary criticand professor in the group for General Literature and Literary Theory at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. He graduated in General Literature and Theory of Literature at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade in 1995. He received his master's degree with the topic "Problems of Relativism in the Theory of Interpretation (on Examples of Interpretation of the Poem entitled Santa Maria della Salute by Laza Kostić)[1]. "Understanding of poetry" was his dissertation which he defended in 2005 for his doctorate.[2]
Areas of interest and study
His interests lie in the theory of literature, ancient poetics, romanticism and realism in world literature, Serbian poetry, theory of interpretation, intertextuality. He participated in several international scientific conferences. He writes reviews, professional and scientific papers in prominent scientific journals and anthologies.
