Korkiya Balaji is a small village of 727 hectares in Keshoraipatan Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Korkiya Balaji depends on KAPRAIN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Korkiya Balaji is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Korkiya Balaji's pin code is 323301[3], and village code is 02746300. The area of Korkiya Balaji is segregated as 520.29 hectares irrigated area, 33.29 hectares unirrigated, the 135.48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.82 hectare area not available for cultivation.
