Korbinian Hamberger is a German writer and producer best known for his work on television. He began his career writing for Dahoam is Dahoam, where he stayed on staff for 4 seasons and worked as a freelancer for multiple other seasons. During his time the show received the Bavarian Television Award. He received multiple honors such as winning the Open Call for Projects by German VDD and ProSiebenSat1 in 2015. In 2020 he's been appointed to mentor film students at prestigious German film school dffb in Berlin. Hamberger is known for working on an international level, having close relationships with producers and networks mainly in Germany and the US.
Hamberger was born in Landsberg am Lech, Germany, studied Business Administration at the School for Applied Science, Cologne before moving on to becoming a writer. He holds a degree from the UCLA, School of Theater, Film and Television which he completed in 2013. In 2015 he took part in Serial Eyes, a prestigious post-graduate course for showrunning at German film school dffb.
