Kolwa is a small village of 918 hectares in Sri Madhopur Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kolwa depends on Reengus, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 400.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kolwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kolwa's pin code is 332603[4], and village code is 01741000. The area of Kolwa is segregated as 426.16 hectares irrigated area, 247.43 hectares unirrigated, the 110.25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 134.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Reengus and Sikar to sell ghee and make their living.
