Kolasar is a small village of 1657 hectares in Bikaner Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kolasar depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kolasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kolasar's pin code is 334001[4], and village code is 00499800. The area of Kolasar is segregated as 48 hectares irrigated area, 1506.84 hectares unirrigated, the 61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 41 hectare area not available for cultivation.
