Kola Ka Bas is a small village of 318 hectares in Thanagazi Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kola Ka Bas depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kola Ka Bas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kola Ka Bas's pin code is 301024[4], and village code is 00882400. The area of Kola Ka Bas is segregated as 92 hectares irrigated area, 119 hectares unirrigated, the 62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 45 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
