Kohrana is a small village of 882 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kohrana depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 501.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kohrana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kohrana's pin code is 301713[4], and village code is 00766200. The area of Kohrana is segregated as 501 hectares irrigated area, 308 hectares unirrigated, the 38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 35 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
