Kodiya is a small village of 401 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kodiya depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kodiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kodiya's pin code is 341513[4], and village code is 01778900. The area of Kodiya is segregated as 373.61 hectares unirrigated, remaining 27.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Didwana and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
