Ricky Ko Tsz Pun (高子彬] born 16 January 1972) [1]is a Hong Kong film director[2][3], he is also a member of Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild.[4] During the year of 1997-2004, he worked at the broadcasting company in Hong Kong, Television Broadcasts Limited, also known as TVB. He then moves to films in the year of 2004 till present.

Career

In 1996, Ko joined TVB. He then began his career as a Production Assistant in television series, Gods of Honour, Journey to the West, A Kindred Spirit, Country Spirit, Blade Heart, The Conqueror's Story, War of the Genders, Happy Ever After, Seed of Hope, The Legend of Lady Yang. In late 2004, Ko resigned from TVB and moved forward to film industry.[5]

At first, Ko was a First Assistant Director in many films, e.g., Ghost In the Shell, Project Gutenberg, The White Storm 2 - Drug Lords, The New King of Comedy, Ip Man: The Final Fight ...etc.

In 2021, he directed his debut "Time". [6]
