Kitpala is a small village of 1992 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kitpala depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kitpala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Kitpala's pin code is 344022[4], and village code is 02141800. The area of Kitpala is segregated as 1749 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 242 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALOTRA and Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
