Kitnoriya is a small village of 1905 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kitnoriya depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 47.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kitnoriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kitnoriya's pin code is 344704[4], and village code is 02259800. The area of Kitnoriya is segregated as 47 hectares irrigated area, 806 hectares unirrigated, the 870 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 182 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kitnoriya has One post office (Kitnoria B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kitnoriya is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1731 and has total administration over 295 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell woolan blanket and make their living.
