Kishorpura is a small village of 531 hectares in Udaipurwati Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kishorpura depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 310.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kishorpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The area of Kishorpura is segregated as 310 hectares irrigated area, 101 hectares unirrigated, the 104 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.
