Kishanpura is a small village of 140 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kishanpura depends on INDRAGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Kishanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kishanpura's pin code is 323024[3], and village code is 02738200. The area of Kishanpura is segregated as 25.58 hectares irrigated area, 68.89 hectares unirrigated, the 12.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.
