Kishanpura is a small village of 369 hectares in Amber Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kishanpura depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 172.42% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kishanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kishanpura's pin code is 302012[4], and village code is 01460600. The area of Kishanpura is segregated as 172.42 hectares irrigated area, 32.98 hectares unirrigated, the 41.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 122.33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
