Kishanganj is a small village of 496 hectares in Nainwa Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kishanganj depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 4.50% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kishanganj is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kishanganj's pin code is 323802[3], and village code is 02699900. The area of Kishanganj is segregated as 56.22 hectares irrigated area, 55.68 hectares unirrigated, the 77.24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 239.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell juggery and make their living.
