Kim Tae-rae (lang-ko|김태래, born July 14, 2002), also known by the mononym Taerae (lang-ko|태래), is a South Korean singer. He is best known for competing on the survival reality show show Boys Planet where he ranked 6th in the final episode, earning him a spot in the South Korean boy band Zerobaseone.[1]

He was born on July 14th, 2002 in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea
Career
2022–present: Boys Planet and Zerobaseone
On December 29, 2022, Kim was unveiled as a contestant on Mnet's reality-survival show "Boys Planet".[2] The show premiered on February 2, 2023.[3]
On April 20, 2023, Kim placed 6th with a total of 1,349,595 points in the final episode of Boys Planet, allowing him to debut with the winning group, Zerobaseone (ZB1).[4][5]
