Kim Ga-eul (Korean: 김가을, Kim Ga Eul; born September 24, 2002), better known mononymously as Gaeul is a South Korean rapper and singer. She's the oldest member of the girl group IVE under Starship Entertainment.
Early life and education
Kim Ga-eul was born on September 24, 2002. She attended an all-girls middle school, during which she was a part of a dance club, and a girl’s high school.
Career
2021– present: Debut with IVE
Ga-eul was cast by JYP Entertainment as well as Starship Entertainment, but ultimately chose Starship Entertainment, training there since 2017..
On November 4, 2021, Ga-eul became the second announced member of the girl group IVE.[1][2] Almost a month later, on December 1, 2021, Ga-eul officially debuted with IVE alongside the release of their first single album Eleven, which consisted of a single with the same name and a song titled Take It[3]
