Khuri Kalan is a small village of 638 hectares in Dausa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khuri Kalan depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khuri Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Khuri Kalan's pin code is 303507[4], and village code is 01394900. The area of Khuri Kalan is segregated as 58 hectares irrigated area, 322 hectares unirrigated, the 216.46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 41.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.
