Khurhand is a small village of 1547 hectares in Atarra Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khurhand depends on Atarra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Khurhand's pin code is 210120[4], and village code is 04821500. The area of Khurhand is segregated as 873 hectares irrigated area, 398 hectares unirrigated area. the 31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 113 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Atarra (MB) and Banda to sell milk solid and make their living.
